Lara Chicofsky and Nina Jobe will be your guides through the darkest streets of Boston. We created this podcast to shine a light on some of the lesser known characters and crimes in Boston and New England. Of course the more infamous will also be included. They've spent the past two years researching the Boston crime scene primarily focusing on the 1960s to 1990s. There are many podcasts and books available about organized crime in the Boston area, but theirs is a bit different. Lara spent most of her life in her father’s world. Eavesdropping when she was a kid, listening intently when Richie was at the end of his life. She often took what her father said with a grain of salt. He was, after all, a conman, an expert liar and an Academy Award worthy actor, but there was always a sliver of truth in his stories. Lara and Nina will be sharing those stories and more with you.
Here are a few episodes that you might want to listen to in addition to The Hit Parade of 1966.
